This 10-week virtual business accelerator is designed for Indigenous artists across so-called Canada who want to turn their creative work into sustainable income. This program offers the tools to build a thriving business with your art, so you can continue to do what you love. You’ll get weekly virtual workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and hands-on training in marketing, sales, digital skills, financial planning, and more.

Led by experienced entrepreneurs & business experts, this free program is supported by partners who believe in empowering Indigenous artists. This program fosters a tight-knit community where creatives grow together. More than a course — it’s a launchpad for your art and business.

Please note that attendance to workshops is mandatory they will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am-12pm PST. Submittion of homework is also required to graduate from the program

This 10-week program combines weekly workshops with personal mentorship and practical tools. You’ll build business confidence, grow your marketing skills, and connect with a supportive network of Indigenous artists — all with flexible, guided support. Attendance is mandatory to stay in the program.

Foundations & Setting Intentions

Week-1
  1. Understand what entrepreneurship means from an Indigenous perspective.
  2. Recognize the importance of storytelling in artistic and business identity.
  3. Set personal and professional goals for the journey ahead.
  4. Meet the team of mentors & review outline for the program

Knowing Your Customer & Your Value

Week-2
  1. Identify and segment your ideal audiences.
  2. Create a unique value proposition based on your art and story.
  3. Enhance compelling storytelling skills.

Sales & Marketing

Week-3 & 4
  1. Compare major art sales channels: online, direct, gallery, market.
  2. Develop fair pricing considering cost, value, and tradition.
  3. Handle negotiations and agreements confidently.
  4. Master essential marketing principles for creative businesses.
  5. Build a strategic overview of personal brand positioning.
  6. Learn marketing basics for both digital and local outreach.

Social Media & Advanced Marketing

Week-5 & 6
  1. Build a compelling and authentic online presence.
  2. Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  3. Develop a manageable social media plan.
  4. Develop advanced digital marketing skills, including email, collaborations, and paid promotions.
  5. Learn to use community engagement and PR.
  6. Leverage Indigenous networks, collectives, and events for business growth.

Financial Wellness, Bookkeeping & Funding

Week-7
  1. Gain solid bookkeeping and budget skills for artists.
  2. Understand tax basics and financial best practices.
  3. Identify and apply for grants/funding opportunities.

Celebration, Resilience & Next Steps

Week-8
  1. Present new business models, stories, or art to the group.
  2. Integrate self-care, burnout prevention, and resilience planning into your practice.
  3. Connect to a community network for ongoing support and peer mentorship.
